The Tomato Store will be selling mulitiple varieties by the pound and local vendors will be offering tomato-themed food and drink.

Two separate competitions will take place during the Round-Up.  In one event, members of the public will have a chance to sample several tomato varieties and then vote for their favorites in the People’s Choice Awards. In the other contest, a panel of judges comprised of professional chefs, city officials and distinguished gardeners and tasters will render their verdict in the Judge’s Competition. Categories include prettiest, most unusual, biggest, tastiest and best heirloom.  The grower whose tomato garners the title of Best in Show will be honored with the Harley Clark Award in memory of Dripping Springs’ beloved organic farmer and tomato-growing wizard, who died in 2014.
The Tomato Round-Up is sponsored annually by the City of Dripping Springs and organized by its Farmers Market Committee.  Generous business and individual sponsorships, which are currently being sought, help make the event possible.
