General Election May 5, 2018
The City of Dripping Springs will hold Municipal Elections for the Mayoral Seat and two Council Member Seats on May 5, 2018. Municipal Elections for the City are conducted by the Hays County Elections Administrator. Applications for Place on the Municipal Ballot can be obtained in the City Secretary's Office during regular business hours, or downloaded from the Texas Secretary of State's website. Applications for Place on the Ballot must be submitted to the City Secretary in accordance with the posted Notice of Filing Period.
Voter Register Applications can be obtained in various State, County and Local Government offices. Specifically, applications can be obtained at the following locations in the City of Drippings Springs:

To be qualified to vote in the General Election for the City of Dripping Springs, your application must be received by the County Voter Registrar at least 30 days prior to the posted election date. THE CITY OF DRIPPING SPRINGS, TEXAS, ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 15.57 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000.00 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $20.00
